Blizzard Confirms Warcraft Coming to Mobile

In a press release of its fourth-quarter 2021 financial results, Activision Blizzard revealed its plans for a new Warcraft mobile game.

The game is expected to come out later this year. Rumors of a mobile Warcraft have been circulating for years. The report stated the following:

“Blizzard is planning substantial new content for the Warcraft franchise in 2022, including new experiences in World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, and getting all-new mobile Warcraft content into players’ hands for the first time.”

In 2018 reports came out that Activision Blizzard was working on a mobile game in a similar vein as Pokemon Go.

The team behind the upcoming Diablo Immortal mobile game (releasing later this year) was rumored to have worked on the project.
