Aaron Latham is the journalist who inspired the story of Urban Cowboy. Latham had written an article for Esquire magazine about Western nightlife in Houston.
It was a “history lesson” talking with Latham about the real life people who inspired the now beloved motion picture “Urban Cowboy”.
Hearing about Sissy, Bud and Wes (and who they really are) was fascinating.
During my interview with Mr. Latham I suggested that the state of Texas should show the movie as part of Texas history. He liked that.
