Comedian and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan may never fully recover or work again due to the traumatic brain injury he received when a Walmart truck crashed into his limo in June.
Tracy Morgan’s lawyer, Benedict Morelli, said Morgan may never return to the man “he once was” after suffering a traumatic brain injury and several broken bones in the accident.
“We are hoping and praying to get him back to the way he was,” Morelli said outside federal court in Trenton, New Jersey. “But the jury’s out.”
Morgan and three other passengers survived the accident, but Morgan’s close friend, James McNair, was killed in the crash. Morgan’s lawyer and the three other surviving passengers are fighting WalMart in court for allowing the truck driver, Kevin Roper, to be awake for more than 24-hours while operating the truck.
