Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, professional wrestler, actor, reality tv show host, and Taylor Swift fan also happens to be quite the fitness enthusiast. In recent years he has taken his training regiment to the next level and amassed some serious gains. His new look has helped him land roles like Hercules and also the “muscle” component in the previous three Fast and Furious films as Agent Luke Hobbs.
Just how did Rocky get so big? Obviously by waking up at 4am and working out for two and a half hours like a super hero (obviously) but he also has to eat an insane amount of food; 7 meals a day including 52 ounces of meat (mostly fish) and 12 eggs total.
The Rock shared his meal plan with Muscle & Fitness and is outlined in jaw dropping full below:
MEAL 1
10 oz cod
2 whole eggs
2 cups oatmeal
MEAL 2
8 oz cod
12 oz sweet potato
1 cup veggies
MEAL 3
8 oz chicken
2 cups white rice
1 cup veggies
MEAL 4
8 oz cod
2 cups rice
1 cup veggies
1 tbsp fish oil
MEAL 5
8 oz steak
12 oz baked potato
spinach salad
MEAL 6
10 oz cod
2 cups rice
salad
MEAL 7
30 grams casein protein
10 egg-white omelet
1 cup veggies (onions, peppers, mushrooms)
1 tbsp omega-3 fish oil
The Rock also takes 4-6 scoops of Optimum’s Amino Energy after his hour of cardio with is first meal, lifts weights (all of them I assume), and then consumes 60 grams of Optimum Nutrition’s Platinum Hydrowhey protein powder along with 32 ounces of Gatorade.
This isn’t a grocery list it’s a Sam’s Club shopping spree!
You can currently catch The Rock doing his thing as the ever flexing Agent Hobbs in Furious 7 in theaters worldwide now.
