The Osbournes Are No More: Sharon and Ozzy File for Divorce

Say it isn’t so!

After 33 years of marriage Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have filed for divorce. According to E! News talks of the couple separating have been going on since 2013. That year, Ozzy posted on Facebook saying “Just to set the record straight, Sharon and I are not divorcing…I’m just trying to be a better person”.

Yet Sharon responded to the divorce comments on her talk show The Talk stating that “Everything that has been printed in the tabloids has been distorted…”. Yet she assured her fans that “There’s always a little seed of truth to everything that gets reported, but then it gets very distorted. The only thing that’s true was the Facebook posting that my husband did on his Facebook where he said he’s been using alcohol and prescription drugs for the last year and a half…and that he has been in a very dark place..That’s true. It’s very true.”

The Black Sabbath front man has been sober for over three years, but it proved not enough to keep the marriage together. While both parties have not released a public statement, sources with the Daily Mail stated that the talk show host kicked Ozzy out of their Beverly Hills home accusing him of cheating with their hairstylist Michelle Pugh.

Sharon and Ozzy met during the peak years of Black Sabbath’s popularity. During their relationship, she became the bands manager. The former couple tied the knot on July 4, 1982 and later had three children: Aimee, 32, Kelly, 31, and Jack 30.
