Marion “Suge” Knight pleaded not guilty to charges that he and comedian Micah “Katt” Williams stole a photographers camera.
Rap mogul Suge Knight and comedian Katt Williams were arrested last month after celebrity photographer Leslie Redden reported to police that the former head of Death Row Records and Williams had stolen her camera on September 5th.They allegedly chased Redden down outside a Beverly Hills studio and “forcibly” grabbed her camera and ran off with it. Redden reported the incident, resulting in the arrest of Knight and Williams on October 29th. Both men were each charged with one count of second degree robbery.
On Wednesday Knight pleaded not guilty to the charges. Williams is scheduled to appear in court December 24th.
Knight could face up to 30 years to life in prison if convicted due to his previous conviction of assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities say Williams faces a maximum sentence of seven years in custody if convicted.
