Source: Zac Efron “Revived” After Alleged Heroin Overdose

A new report is claiming Zac Efron was “revived” after an alleged heroin overdose in NYC earlier this year.

The Parkland star allegedly overdosed on the powerful prescription painkiller oyxcodone, also known as “hillbilly heroin,” after a wild night of partying and drinking in NYC on January 3.  According to The Hollywood Gossip, a witness claims they saw the star collapse and Efron had to be revived by a party guest.

“I was scared for him,” The Hollywood Gossip’s eyewitness said of the actor. “If he doesn’t clean himself up, he’ll be Hollywood’s next big drug tragedy.”

The source also claims that Efron was looking to score 40 prescription pills for the party.  “If he didn’t have such a need for the oxy, I don’t think he would have let us come into the room,” the source said of the alleged, infamous hotel party.   “He was like a junkie. He wanted the drugs so bad….This was the only way he could get them.”

“My worst fear was that he had died from an overdose,”  the source adds.

So far, Efron has been doing well after completing rehab earlier this year.  Fans hope the young star can stay clean and sober.
