Simon Cowell is expecting a baby with his friends wife, Lauren Silverman.
Before you judge the X Factor judge as a “home wrecker”, the mom-to-be is going through a divorce and technically still married to Simon’s real-estate mogul friend, Andrew Silverman.
Us Weekly was first to report the baby news and mentioned that New York City socialite Lauren Silverman is “around 10 weeks along in her pregnancy,” and reportedly “became close” to Simon (53) as her marriage “deteriorated” with Andrew.
“Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while,” a source told US Weekly.
This will be the first child for Cowell. In the past he told a UK tabloid, “I’d want kids if I knew I could be faithful.” Simon later added that he likes kids and would prefer a girl.
