Sarah Michelle Gellar Pays Touching Tribute to Robin Williams

A year ago today comedy died. Suffering from dementia and depression, comedian and actor, Robin Williams took his own life. With an up lifting stage presence, great acting ability, and a mind that shoots laughs every second its a shock that someone so positive could take his own life.

That shock still holds true for Williams’ former co-star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Gellar and Williams where on the short lived TV Show The Crazy Ones in 2013, which marks Robin Williams last role in TV. Gellar went to Instagram to pay her respects by posting a picture in remembrance of one Williams greatest scenes. The post gave a touching nod to Williams bench scene in Good Will Hunting. The picture has a chalk outline of Williams feet and quotes from the film saying, “Sorry guys, I went to see about a girl” and “You’re move, chief – RW.” The post also included a touching Ralph Waldo Emerson quote which summarized Williams success. Williams won an Academy Award for his supporting role in Good Will Hunting, playing a psychologist who aids a brilliant man with his life. The film also took home an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay, which was awarded to Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Robin Williams would’ve of been 64 in July. May he continue to bring the laughs to other great actors/actress that have gone too soon.
