According to a search warrant obtained by TMZ, Sandra Bullock had come face to face with an intruder who broke into her home last month.
The break-in occurred on June 8th where the actress faced her stalker, Joshua Corbett, as early as 1 a.m before calling 911, not at 6:30 a.m. according to initial reports.
The warrant allegedly states, “At 1 AM she hears a loud banging inside the house. Bullock goes to her bedroom door to close and lock it and she sees Corbett right there in the hallway wearing dark clothing.”
“Bullock slams the door shut, locks it and calls 911. She told cops she had showered before going to bed, so he may have been there the whole time.”
Upon the arrival of officials, Corbett allegedly began to scream, “Sand, I’m sorry. Please don’t press charges.”
Allegedly, Corbett was carrying a notebook that contained cutout magazine photos of Bullock and multiple handwritten notes. TMZ claims one of the notes state, “I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.”
Initially, Corbett had been charged with stalking the actress, burglarizing her home and being in possession of an illegal handgun, but after discovering the man owned “an arsenal of weapons,” 19 felony counts were added.
If convicted, Corbett could spend up to 12 years in prison.
