Rosie O’Donnell announced on Twitter Tuesday evening that her 17-year-old daughter Chelsea has been found and is safe.

In a post on her blog Tuesday morning, O’Donnell revealed that Chelsea was last seen on August 11. She left home with her therapy dog, a black terrier named Bear. The police had been looking for her in the Rockland County area since Sunday. The post also mentions that Chelsea had “stopped taking her medicine and [was] in need of medical attention.”
O’Donnell also tweeted throughout the day Tuesday, stating that her daughter was missing:

South Nyack police confirmed Chelsea was found in good health in New Jersey.
Chelsea is one of O’Donnell’s five children. O’Donnell adopted her back in 1997.
