The Los Angeles County District Attorneys office has filed ten misdemeanor charges against singer Ray J in connection to his drunken actions at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in May.
Police were called to the hotel after the singer allegedly brushed against a woman’s backside at the hotel bar, but officials allowed Ray J to leave the premises after the touching incident was deemed accidental.
The 33-year-old then became belligerent with staff during an alcohol-induced rampage and proceeded to spit on an officer and kick out the window of a patrol car after being cuffed and seated in the vehicle. The singer reveled to TMZ that “he kicked out the window because he was claustrophobic.”
While officials determined the touching incident to be an accident, the singer was still charged with sexual battery. Ray J was also charged with four counts of resisting arrest, three counts of assault and battery, and two counts of vandalism.
