Prince William Pictured Flying Economy Class in U.S.

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, flew an American Airlines flight from Memphis to Dallas on Sunday after he attended the family friend wedding of Guy Pelly in Tennessee. The Duke of Cambridge flew coach instead of first class to DFW airport where he would later change planes to fly back to the UK.

Eli Ross, a television reporter for Local 24 News and CW 30 News in Memphis, TN was on board the same flight as Prince William. Ross sat just a few rows behind the Duke of Cambridge where he was able to capture and tweet a picture of Prince William sitting in coach writing, “I am still amazed #Prince William flies COACH. That’s pretty humble/awesome. Who knew?” Prince William had a window seat and apparently ordered water midway thru the 1 hour 30 domestic flight.
