Sources from The Sun are reporting that Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late “King of Pop,” plunged into a deep depression when it was revealed to the 15-year-old that her older brother, Prince, does not share the same biological father as her.
”She was convinced her and Prince were full siblings. She always idolized him,” a family friend of the Jackson’s told The Sun on Sunday. ”Hearing she wasn’t started a downward spiral.”
The reason Paris was given the news was to prepare her for a tough testimony on the witness stand, The Sun reports. Last week AEG legal counsel said that they never intended to put Paris on the stand, rather the Jackson family had added her name to the possible witness list.
Meanwhile, Paris is undergoing therapy to help cure her depression at the UCLA Medical Center. The Jackson family plans on putting her in a treatment facility but where has not yet been determined.
According to the family insider, Paris doesn’t want to live at home anymore because she feels like she’s “being stifled there.'”
”I miss my dad terribly still and at times I feel like there’s no one I can talk to about how I feel,” Paris is quoted saying, according to the insider. “I want to go and live with Diana [Ross], who was one of dad’s closest friends.”
