Police arrested 20-year-old Che Cruz for allegedly breaking into Selena Gomez’s Calabasas home Sunday evening. According to authorities, Gomez called security after she arrived home with her friend around 9:25 p.m. and heard a noise outside of her home.
While security was on their way to the singer’s residence, Gomez’s friend answered the door when Cruz knocked on it asking if Selena was home. After Gomez’s friend told Cruz that Selena was not home and closed the door on him, Cruz apparently left. As deputies arrived and searched Gomez’s property they found Cruz hiding in the 21-year-old’s back guest house. Cruz was taken into custody on suspicion of burglary and is being held on $50,000 bail.
This is the first incident for Selena in her new Calabasas mansion. Selena just recently moved into the $3 million mansion in Hidden Hills last month.
