Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Wedding Preview

As May 24th approaches, reality star Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are making final preparations for their wedding in Florence, Italy.

A spokesperson for the Florence mayor’s office confirmed last week that the couple will be wed and host a reception at the city’s famed 16th century Belvedere Fort. The $410,000 venue, built in 1590, is adjacent to the Arno River, offering a panoramic view of Florence and the surrounding Tuscan hills.

Us Weekly warned readers that the Florence location may be a part of a grand wedding plan, not necessary the final destination. “Kim and Kanye have told all guest different information,” said a source to Us Weekly. “No one knows all the details.”

With flowers being sent from London, Swiss technicians handling the music and Italians setting up the lighting, the wedding is shaping up to be an international affair.

“The wedding is small and intimate,” according to a source from People magazine. “It’s not going to be a big blowout like her last one,” referring to Kardashian’s nuptials to Kris Humphries in 2011.

Other than the family of Kardashian and West, 250 longtime friends, including Tennis pro Serena Williams, will surround the two on their wedding day. Since the wedding will not be filmed, Beyoncé and Jay Z may make an appearance.

“This wedding is really about Kim and Kanye and people who have known and loved them for a long time,” said an insider to People magazine. “Everyone who is invited just cant wait for the wedding to begin!”

This isn’t the first marriage for West, who was previously engaged to designer Alexis Phifer. Also, Kardashian’s nuptial to West will be her third trip down the aisle. The reality star was wed to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003, and spent 72 days married to professional basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011.
