According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Jurassic Park actor and acting coach Cameron Thor is in police custody after allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old-girl.
Thor had been an acting coach at Carter Thor Studio in Studio City, California where officials say the alleged victim had consulted with the actor about enrolling in classes in 2008 when she was 13.
After a single consultation, Thor had allegedly driven the girl to a secluded area in Agoura Hills where he proceeded to sexually assault her.
The LAPD Special Victims Bureau confirmed that Thor, who was arrested on Tuesday, had been arraigned in court on Thursday and charged in connection with sex crimes involving children under the age of 14, including 11 charges of kidnapping, robbery and rape.
Thor is scheduled for a June 19th court appearance and is currently being held on $2.6 million bail.
Thor played Lewis Dodgson in Jurassic Park, the man who made a deal with Dennis Nedry to purchase dinosaur embryos. The actor is also credited with roles in A Few Good Men, Hook, and two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
