Jennifer Lawrence has been named Forbes’ highest-grossing actor of 2014.
The 24-year-old Oscar winning actress has grossed over $1.4 billion at the box office worldwide this year. Forbes expects this number to grow since Mockingjay Part 1 is still showing in theaters around the world.
Last year’s top spot was held by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who brought in $1.3 billion at the box office. Other stars who made the list for 2014 includes Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, who is second on the list after Lawrence, Lucy star Scarlett Johansson takes the third spot, Transformers star Mark Wahlberg makes the fourth spot, and Captain America’s Chris Evans rounds out the top five of the Forbes’ list of highest-grossing actors of 2014.
A few of Lawrence’s fellow X-Men: Days of Future Past co-stars also made the list. These earnings are only calculated by the total box office earnings of the films they starred in, not their personal earnings.
