Former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin was arrested Sunday morning for disorderly conduct after laying in someone’s front yard and telling police “she planned on sleeping in the woods.”
According to officials, NFL player Da’Quan Bowers had flown the singer to Myrtle Beach where the two, along with Ricky Sapp, spent the day drinking. As the day came to a close, the three went back to Sapp’s house where it became evident Franklin had drank to much.
The NFL players say they called police after Franklin began screaming and slamming doors. Franklin then proceeded to flee the premises and was eventually found lying in a neighbor’s lawn.
Officials described Franklin’s condition as “highly intoxicated” and “unsteady on her feet,”
According to the Horry County Sheriffs Office, Franklin was booked around 4 a.m. and released around noon the same day.
Franklin was also arrested in Los Angeles back in 2011 for disorderly conduct and later claimed she was a victim of racial profiling.
