According to TMZ, Justin Bieber is being charged today with criminal vandalism in connection to an alleged egging of his neighbor’s January.
While its unknown whether Bieber will be charged with a misdemeanor or felony, prosecutors involved in the case feel that “if this isn’t a felony nothing is.” The victims of incident have estimated a total of $20K in damages.
Eventually, police executed a search warrant against the pop star, and evidence such as a Bieber’s own surveillance video which shows he was present during the egging, will be used in today’s filing.
Bieber’s charge comes after the D.A. decided not to charge the singer in an alleged incident last month at a batting cage where a woman claimed he verbally abused her and grabbed her cell phone. The investigation turned up no evidence to support the woman’s claim.
