Chris Brown’s Bodyguard on Trial in D.C.

Singer Chris Brown’s bodyguard is on trial on assault charges in Washington D.C.

Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, began trial Thursday in a Superior Court in D.C. for assault charges made against Brown and Hollosy. Both individuals were arrested in October after a man accused them of punching him outside a Washington hotel fracturing his nose. Hollosy admitted to police that he punched the man after he attempted to get on Brown’s tour bus. The alleged victim, Isaac Adams Parker, however told police that both Brown and Hollosy punched him in the face when he tried to get in a photo Brown was taking with two women.

These assault charges violates Brown’s parole from his 2009 assault of former girlfriend Rihanna. Brown has denied the assault allegations in D.C., but he will have a separate court appearance following Hollosy’s trial which began today April 17. Brown’s trial is scheduled to begin on April 21.
