Bobbi Kristina Brown Moved to Hospice Care

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was taken off of life support and moved to hospice care Wednesday.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston, her aunt and co-guardian, said in a statement on behalf of the Houston Family. “As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”

Back on January 31, Brown was found to be unresponsive in a bathtub at her Atlanta home. Her boyfriend Nick Gordon was reportedly one of the two people who found her. She has been unconscious since then and has spent the past few months in a rehab facility.

Brown’s legal conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed a lawsuit against Gordon today, claiming he assaulted her, “including punching her in the face, knocking out a front tooth, and dragging her upstairs by her hair.” It also claims he stole over $11,000 from her while she was hospitalized. The lawsuit, which was filed in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court, is seeking at least $10 million, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

It also states the Brown allegedly had plans to meet up with someone January 31, the day of the accident, to discuss how Gordon “was not the man she thought he was.”

“I filed this lawsuit to pursue justice on behalf of Bobbi Kristina Brown,” Hargrove said in a statement. “No human being, male or female, should endure what Bobbi Kristina endured. Pat Houston and Bobby Brown have done all they can do to take care of Bobbi Kristina since this terrible tragedy occurred. I have worked closely with both of them and we all want the very best for Bobbi Kristina. This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina.

“We pray that justice will be done for her and that it will be swift.”
