Anton Yelchin Left No Will Before His Death
Anton Yelchin, who passed away at the age of 27 in June in a freak accident where he was pinned by his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee against a brick mailbox and a security gate, did not leave a will, according to court papers completed by his parents.
Since Yelchin did not have a spouse or children, his parents, Victor and Irina Yelchin, are filing to become administrators of his estate, which is estimated to be nearly $1.4 million. The Star Trek actor had $731,000 in equity and $641,000 in cash and personal property, according to TMZ.

It was also revealed Monday that Yelchin’s parents plan to sue Fiat Chrysler, manufacturer ZF North America, and AutoNation, the retail chain they claim Yelchin bought the car from. According to TMZ, they want punitive damages “for the wrongful death of their son due to significant defects.”
Yelchin’s car model had been recalled for rollaway issues. Shortly after Yelchin’s death, a class action lawsuit was filed against Fiat Chrysler, claiming the 2015 Cherokee had a faulty e-shift.
