Forbes Magazine has announced that Angelina Jolie is the highest paid actress in Hollywood this year. Jolie claimed the #1 spot after falling behind Kristen Stewart last year when she was named Hollywood’s highest paid actress in 2012.
The 38-year-old actress took in a reported $33 million between June 2012 and June 2013 without having any big blockbusters released during that time frame. Jolie earned $13 million more than what she earned in 2012. These earnings do not include tax deductions or other costs of being an A-list celebrity.
Coming in second place is Hollywood’s hottest it-girl Jennifer Lawrence. The Hunger Games and Silver Linings Playbook actress earned a reported $26 million and won a Academy Award for Best Actress along the way.
Kristen Stewart dropped from first to third place by earning $22 million this year. Last year the Twilight star earned $34.5 million thanks to an asking price of $12.5 million per film. With the Twilight series over, Forbes predicts Stewart will not make the list in the years to come.
To finish up the top 5, Jenifer Aniston earned $20 million this year putting her in fourth place (last year she was #10) while Emma Stone took 5th place with $16 million in earnings.
