Narcos: Mexico, the popular spin-off series of Narcos has announced that season 3 will be their last. Netflix revealed that the final season will premiere Nov. 5 according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Fortunately, the cartel drama series remained a top hit for the streamer. Not only are original cast members returning, but the season 3 teaser hints at an all-out war between cartels. Check out the announcement video below!
What to Expect for Season 3 of ‘Narcos: Mexico’
This season is set in the 1990s where the cartels of Mexico are booming. Since the increased globalization of the drug business is thriving, danger follows as well. With money also an issue, the new generation of cartel leaders clash. Ultimately sparking brutal conflict. Additionally, the saga’s first female narrator will return.
The Cast of Season 3
With new faces and familiar ones, expect a wild season. Some cast members include Scoot McNairy as Walt Breslin and Alejandro as El Chapo. Furthermore, Wagner Moura will be playing Pablo Escobar (reprising role from original series). José María Yazpik will play Amado Carrillo Fuentes as well. Also guest star Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (known by his stage name Bad Bunny) will play a young cartel hitman.
At this time there is no other series has been announced in the franchise.
