The series is the next chapter for the ladies from Sex and the City. It follows the lives of Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they experience the complicated authenticity of life and friendship in the city. Except instead of being in their 30s, they are in their 50s. Now that is a whole other world they will venture into.

How ‘Sex and the City’ came to be
Originally Sex and the City was based off a book written by Candace Bushnell. It was created into an HBO series by Darren Star and ran from 1998 to 2004 for six seasons. Additionally, the show turned into two major films. The first movie, Sex and the City was produced in 2008 while Sex and the City 2 came out in 2010. Moreover, the show has won Primetime Emmys, two Directors Guild of America Awards and three Screen Actors Awards.
About ‘And Just Like That’
And Just Like That is currently filming in New York and is expected to wrap up soon. The cast includes Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman. Along with Chris Noth, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Willie Garson and Evan Handler. The spinoff series is executively produced by Michael Patrick King. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky and John Melfi will also executive produce. King will write alongside Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom, Keli Goff, Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky.
Unfortunately, Kim Cattrall will not return as Samantha Jones in the new series.
