Tom Cruise is in play to be the lead role in the Clint Eastwood remake of A Star is Born. Warner Bros announced that although there have yet to be any negotiations, Tom Cruise did not reject the idea of working with Eastwood for the first time.
Beyonce has been committed to the revival of the film for a long time now, so much that the production of the film was delayed due to her pregnancy.
There is no shooting date set mainly because it is unclear of Cruise’s schedule would accommodate the production schedule.
Over the past few months, Warner Bros. has been scouting Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman and Leonardo DiCaprio as contenders to the lead role as well.
