U.S. Marine Patrick Cronin on Helping Afghan Translators Build New Lives in America

Patrick Cronin works to safely bring Afghani translators to the United States that were deployed with the U.S. Marine Corp.

Captain Patrick Cronin of the United States Marine Corp joins Jon Stenvall to talk about his experiences in Afghanistan and the work he’s doing to bring Afghan translators who worked with the U.S. Armed Forces to the United States to build new lives and secure their safety.

We discuss the security concerns many Americans have over the vetting process, the reasons the translators should be brought to the United States, and the goals these men have after leaving their lives in Afghanistan.
