If you’re looking for some thrills at the Houston Rodeo carnival this year. Then look no further because I’m going to tell you some of my favorite rides at this year’s rodeo.
I’ve made sure to add some family-friendly rides, some for daredevils and the faint of heart.
The Windsurf
Let’s start off with one for the thrill-seekers, The Windsurf. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to dangle in the air over a crowd and spun around like a top then this is the ride for you.
As with most of the daring rides at the rodeo, it’s best not to have a big meal before you hop on this wick wave ride.
The Grand Wheel
If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, then try your hand at the Grand Wheel. Always a favorite with the kiddos, the Grand Wheel offers some of the best views of the entire Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The Titan
For the daredevils, there is one ride that you must try and conquer and that is the Titan. This monster is not for the faint of heart. Towering in at 17 stories high, The Titan pushes its riders to 4 G speeds.
The Wild River
With the AstroWorld lot just across the freeway, it’s hard not to feel nostalgic walking around the carnival. If you’re looking to relive a bit of that AstroWorld magic then make your way to the Wild River.
This ride may not give its riders the epic drop that the Bamboo Shoot gave AstroWorld goers all those years ago. But it does offer a more family-friendly experience without all the extra splash.
The Insanity 360
The Insanity 360 has the perfect name because it is just pure insanity! Riders are spun around in a 360-degree circle, while also spinning as they defy gravity. The good thing is that the line for the Insanity 360 is not too long.
So if you are heading out to the Houston Rodeo be sure to check out some of the dozens of rides at the carnival. Let us know what rides are your favorite!
