FOX Debuts American Idol Season 11 Promo
It’s back! Yes, it’s already time for American Idol Season 11!
We here at BackstageOL realize that the current X Factor season is knee deep in competition, but we got just a bit excited when we saw this preview for the NEXT season of “American Idol.”
Yes, J-Lo, Randy and Steven are back. So is Ryan. The new season begins on Fox January 22, 2012.
Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe says not to expect any major changes when the hit TV show returns.
“I think we made a lot of tweaks last year,” Lythgoe said. “I’m not sure that we want to make too many more tweaks this year.”
“The kids that have auditioned this year that we’re going to be taking to Hollywood in December are again really talented and really diverse,” he said. “Hopefully they’ll get through one of the toughest auditions, which is the Hollywood week, and get themselves into the top 20.”
And don’t forget- our hometown of Houston, Texas hosted one of the auditions.
