In the modern heist drama Hell or High Water, Chris Pine and Ben Foster take on the roles of two brothers who rob multiple branches of a bank that is foreclosing on their family land. They are successful in their quest for revenge at first, but then are trailed by a Texas Ranger, played by Jeff Bridges, and his deputy, portrayed by Gil Birmingham.

Pine and Foster recently sat down with BackstageOL’s Dave Morales and talked about working with Bridges.
“It’s what you can imagine…I mean I grew up watching him,” Pine said.
“It’s better in real life…if that’s harder to believe,” Foster added.
The two also discussed how they prepped for the multiple bank-robbing scenes in the film.
“I watched a lot of films about bank robberies, so I just copied what I saw in films, which is raise a gun and say ‘Hands in the air!’” Pine said.
Hell or High Water is currently in theaters.
