Looks like The Rock isn’t too happy with some of his male Fast and the Furious co-stars.
On Instagram this week, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that this week is his final week of shooting for Fast 8, the eighth installment in the Fast and the Furious franchise. First, he thanks the crew and his female co-stars, which include Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, and Eva Mendes:
This is my final week of shooting #FastAndFurious8. There’s no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one. An incredible hard working crew. UNIVERSAL has been great partners as well. My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ’em.
However, Johnson then goes on to slam his male co-stars:
My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken sh** to do anything about it anyway. Candy a****. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right.
His finishes his post with the following:
Bottom line is it’ll play great for the movie and fits this Hobbs character that’s embedded in my DNA extremely well. The producer in me is happy about this part😉. Final week on FAST 8 and I’ll finish strong. #IcemanCometh #F8 #ZeroToleranceForCandyA****
It is unknown who Johnson is referring to. His male co-stars for Fast 8 include Kurt Russell, Vin Diesel, Scott Eastwood, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Ludacris, and Tyrese Gibson.
Fast 8 is set to be released April 14, 2017.
