Jennifer Lopez and Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda have teamed up to record a new track that will benefit the victims of the mass shooting that occurred in Orlando last month.
The pair teased the song, titled “Love Make the World Go Round,” on Twitter Monday:

Lopez also shared a picture of them in the studio last week on Instagram:
Proceeds from the song will go to Hispanic Federation’s Proyecto Somos Orlando, which “will address the long-term needs for mental health services that are culturally competent and bilingual. Proyecto will enable care to be delivered to those affected directly in the communities in which they live. Beyond emergency assistance, they will be provided with case management, crisis intervention, and mental health services, among other needs.”
Miranda has been very busy lately. At the end of this week, he will leave his hit Broadway musical Hamilton, which took home eleven Tony Awards last month. He composed songs for Disney’s upcoming film Moana and is also set to star alongside Emily Blunt in a Mary Poppins sequel, which is slated to hit theaters in December 2018.
Lopez is currently occupied with her residency in Las Vegas for the summer as well as filming season two of her NBC series Shades of Blue.
A release date for “Love Make the World Go Round” has not yet been announced.
