Jennifer Lawrence to Star in Steven Spielberg’s ‘It’s What I Do’

Jennifer Lawrence, the internet’s crush and spirit animal, is set to star in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War, according to Deadline.

It’s What I Do will be the adaptation of land war photographer Lynsey Addario’s memoir of the same name, the rights of which were won by Warner Bros. in a heated bidding war.

Addario, the MacArthur Fellowship and Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist, has documented war torn countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya where she was kidnapped and imprisoned by pro-Quaddafi forces during the Libyan civil war in 2011.

Andrew Lazar will be producing the film who also produced American Sniper starring Bradley Cooper which was wildly successful at the box office and earned six Academy Award nominations including Best Picture. Spielberg was previously set to direct American Sniper but departed from the film due to apparent budgetary issues before Clint Eastwood took over as director.
