It was a bloody scene at the Beyoncé/Jay Z concert in Pasadena, California on Saturday after a man allegedly bit off the fingertip of another man.
According to the Pasadena Star News, Robert Alcaraz-Garnica, 25, was arrested on suspicion of sexual battery and mayhem, the latter of which means maliciously injuring someone to render the victim defenseless.
Pasadena police Lt. John Luna said that the alleged attack occurred after Alcaraz-Garnica sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s. The woman’s boyfriend confronted the alleged groper, where a brawl soon after ensued.
“During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim, causing serious injury to his finger,” the lieutenant said. “He lost the tip of one of his fingers.”
Pasadena police made an additional ten arrests that night for less gory reasons, such as public drunkenness and ticket scalping.
The Saturday night sold-out concert, with over 55,000 people present, was the first of the two-night stint at the Rose Bowl for their “On The Run” tour.
