After breaking an ankle, Harrison Ford will be missing as much as two months of filming from Star Wars: Episode VII.
Ford was taken to the hospital after the door of the Millennium spacecraft injured his ankle, but shooting will proceed in his absence. A source close to production on the film told The Hollywood Reporter Episode VII is still expected to makes its confirmed release date of December 18, 2015.
Several stars from the original Star Wars trilogy will be joining Ford in the latest installment, including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.
Other cast members include John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o and Max van Sydow.
Production for the film began last month, with shooting taking place in Abu Dhabi and London.
