According to law enforcement, Joshua Corbett, the man charged with breaking into Sandra Bullock’s home on Sunday, owned an illegal machine gun at the time he attempted to go after the actress.
Prosecutors have said that Corbett did not have the machine gun in his possession at the time of his arrest, but was found during a subsequent search.
A source to the LAPD told TMZ that Corbett’s intentions of breaking into the house was not burglarize it, but for Bullock. He reportedly did not want to harm the actress, but to talk face-to face.
Allegedly, when Corbett broke into Bullocks Los Angeles around 6:30 a.m., the actress had locked herself in a room until police arrived.
Her son was not on the premises at that time.
Corbett is currently being held in lieu of $185,000. If convicted of stalking and fire arm possession, he will face up to seven years and four months in prison.
