It’s been three years since Andy Grammer introduced himself with his selfishly-titled debut, but the pop singer-songerwriter is returning this summer with a brand-new record Magazines or Novels.
The Los Angeles-born singer is most known for his breakout-hit , the certified platinum “Keep Your Head Up” and its follow-up “Fine By Me,” but it’s his new track “Back Home” that currently has his name buzzing.
Today, June 10, the 30-year-old unleashed the music video for “Back Home,” premiering the visual exclusively on the Billboard website.
The clip, directed by Justin Baldoni, finds Grammar running in the salt flats of Salt Lake City, playing games and sharing laughs with friends on a tour bus, and entertaining a crowd with colored powder.
“‘Back Home” has that massive group vocal in the chorus,” says Grammer. “This video needed to feel enormous. The capacity crowd singing amidst a ‘colorsplosion’ was exactly what it called for.”

“Back Home” offers the first preview of Andy Grammer’s upcoming sophomore release Magazines or Novels, which will be available worldwide on August 5 via S-Curve Records. Until its release, enjoy the feel-good sounds of “Back Home” and its inspiring video.
