While most national anthems are not televised during sports broadcasts, this one definitely should have been. Last night 10-year-old Olivia Kay shocked the crowd at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena before the Thunder beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4.
The Edmond, OK native’s rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” was so good that the crew of TNT’s Inside The NBA decided to bring the young singer onto the set of the post-game show to sing a cover of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” – and she nailed it!
Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal were shocked of the young lady’s talent, dancing on set while she sang Adele’s hit song. The crew continued the fun afterwards by “signing” Kay to a Shaq Entertainment contract while the crowd chanted, “MVP…MVP…MVP.”
This definitely isn’t the first time the 10-year-old has sang “Rolling In The Deep” before. Olivia Kay released a music video of her singing the popular song last November on YouTube and the video has already garnered over 868,000 views.
