Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her fiancé Jionni LaValle plan on tying the knot in the fall in New Jersey.
Polizzi and LaValle are parents to their one-year-old son Lorenzo and are finally planning to officially get married after being engaged since 2012. The couple is planning a Great Gatsby themed wedding in the small New Jersey town of Garfield. The wedding would be taped by MTV for Nicole’s MTV spinoff show “Snooki and JWoww”.
Nicole was a cast member of the reality series “Jersey Shore” and went by the nickname “Snooki” who was known to party hard. Town officials of Garfield, such as Councilman Frank Calandriello, are debating if the wedding should be filmed because they have concerns about how the city would be portrayed.
Mayor Joseph Delaney thinks filming the wedding in Garfield could be a great thing, but the city’s attorney is currently reviewing the contract for MTV to film in their city.
