We have a first look of Jason Segel as David Foster Wallace for the upcoming film “The End of The Tour”.
A passerby at the Mall of America captured a photo and a short video of Jason Segel filming with his co-star Jesse Eisenberg on March 15.
The film is an adaptation of David Lipsky’s book, “Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace,” where Segel, Wallace, and Eisenberg, narrator David Lipsky, journey together while promoting Wallace’s book “Infinite Jest”.
Many fans of David Foster Wallace were skeptical about Segel being casted as Wallace for “The End of The Tour,” but many say he looks the part after seeing this picture of him in character. The photo was posted on Twitter and Instagram and a video was also posted on Instagram.
“The End of The Tour” is set to release in 2015.
