Lady Gaga has been booked to host and perform as a musical guest on the 39th season of Saturday Night Live.
This will mark the third appearance of the pop star in studio 8H and the first time she has hosted. Previously, Gaga was a musical guest on two episodes hosted by Justin Timberlake (2011 & 2009) and another with Ryan Reynolds.
With Gaga’s newest album ARTPOP coming out on November 11th, and with her latest single “Applause” currently sitting at number 4 on the Billboard charts, her SNL appearance will act as a re-emergence after keeping a relatively low profile the past few months due to an injury.
The 39th season of Saturday Night Live begins on September 28th.
