The allegations against Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman winner Johnny Manziel continue to increase.
During a recent segment of “Outside the Lines,” ESPN revealed that Manziel participated in two additional sessions where he allegedly received money for signing autographs and memorabilia. One took place after the Discover BCS National Championship Game in South Florida in early January and the other was in Houston in late January. Both of these sessions were organized by Kevin Freistat, a Florida-based autograph dealer and owner of KLF Sports.
ESPN previously reported that Manziel took part in four autograph signings. The new report now brings the total number of alleged autograph-signing sessions to six. All of the sessions reportedly took place in less than a month in three different states, where he allegedly signed his name over 4,400 times.
Currently, the NCAA is investigating these alleged sessions to see if they violated any of the NCAA laws. At this time, the NCAA and Texas A&M have not commented on the reports. Manziel has not commented on the situation since the allegations first surfaced last week.
