TLC has announced that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will be back for a second season this summer. The redneck-styled hit reality series returns on Wednesday, July 17 at 8 pm.
This season’s premiere will be nothing like last year’s, as TLC has revealed that it will be a “Watch ‘n Sniff” event. The network got Mama June Shannon to explain how it works.
“Get your card. When you see the number on your TV, scratch the corresponding number, take big whiff and see what you smell,” she explained. You can find Honey Boo Boo’s “Watch ‘n Sniff” cards, featuring six assorted scents, in People’s July 15 issue and at select Time Warner Cable stores across the country.
“This summer, get ready to watch the family take part in hijinks like butter rolling, tap dancing lessons and wrestling events,” TLC announced in a statement. The most anticipated event of the season is the wedding between June Shannon and Mike Thompson.
