John Mayer Dedicates New Song to Katy Perry

This past weekend, John Mayer made a public declaration of love for Katy Perry when he dedicated a song to her during the first stop of his “Born and Raised” tour in Milwaukee. Before the last song in his set, “A Face to Call Home,” Mayer stated that Perry was his “face to call home” and thanked her for helping him through his vocal chord problems. “She was more incredible than I ever thought,” he added. Perry was reportedly watching Mayer perform from the mixing board that night.

Mayer and Perry were first spotted together last August, but reportedly broke up in March. Now it looks like the two are back together again. The couple posted a photo on Instagram of themselves together on 4th of July, dressed in patriotic outfits.

The “Born and Raised” tour is John Mayer’s first tour in 3 years and is his first headlining concert since he had surgery back in August for a granuloma in his throat. During Saturday’s show at the Marcus Amphitheatre, Mayer played many songs from his latest album, Born and Raised, as well as a few of his new songs from his upcoming album, Paradise Valley, which is set to be released August 13.
