Hit-Girl (Chloe Grac Moretz) tries to begin a new life in the first red-band trailer for Kick-Ass 2 after losing her father Big Daddy (Nicholas Cage) in the last film. She attempts to fit into a new school with her new foster family in an attempt to return to normal life. Unsurprisingly, that doesn’t last for long.
The new trailer puts Hit-Girl back into action fighting crime on the streets with her gang of costumed fighters. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse reprise their roles as David “Dave” Lizewski and Chris D’Amico while Jim Carrey debuts his role as Sal Bertolinni aka. Colonel Stars and Stripes.
