Rolling Stones Expected to Earn Huge Payday on Upcoming Tour

The Rolling Stones are planning to earn some huge cash for their upcoming North American tour.  How much cash?  Estimates are between $4-5 million per show on their upcoming 18 date tour.  That’s between $72-90 million.  Not too shabby for a couple months of work.

Although the dates and venues have yet to be set, The Rolling Stones are expected to hit the road beginning May 2nd.  “I’ve heard West Coast cities – L.A. And Seattle,” a source told Rolling Stone Magazine.  “But I think they’re going to do some back East as well.”

The band just finished up a mini-tour run for their ’50 and Counting’ tour with stops in Brooklyn, Newark and London late last year.  Now the Stones have just finished a bidding war amoungst several concert promoters around the world.  AEG ending up receiving the winning bid and will begin piecing together the North American Tour.  Following their North American run they will perform at London’s Hyde Park in July followed by a string of European tour dates.

Ticket prices to the upcoming North American tour are expected to fetch $500-650 for premium seats – slightly cheaper than their four run stint last year.

AEG plans to announce the North American tour schedule in early April.
