A house in the Edwards Landing Residential Community in Lessburg,Virginia wanted this years Halloween decorated house to go viral.
Edwards Landing Lights spent over two years synchronizing lights and music for the holidays. This year they went Gangnam Style. With 8,500 lights and roughly 250 channels of computer animation, this home is putting on a Halloween show, Gangnam Style.
After video footage of the Gangnam Style Halloween house was put online people have fallen in love with it. Users on Youtube commented on the video asking for the address to go see this work of holiday art in person. All visitors are being asked to be courteous and respectful to neighboring homes and to take note of the following rules:
Be respectful of our neighbors by staying off their lawns and not blocking their driveways.
Pull to the side of the road so you do not impede thru traffic
Keep your radio volume to a reasonable level for inside your vehicle
Look around you when you arrive. Be respectful of other viewers by not blocking the sight lines of those who arrived before you.
Put on your parking lights for safety which ensures your vehicle lights are not shining into other vehicles around you.
Do not enter the yard for any reason.
Have fun. We do!!
If there are any violations of these rules it will be shut down,” said Edwards Landing Light Show.
Gangnam Style is not the only thing this “Spooky” house can do. “This year we have a total of 13 full songs, 4 short intro bits and a couple of announcements,” said Edward Landing Lights.
“We’ve divided the songs into two approximately 25 minute shows that play on alternating nights 7:15 PM – 10 PM on school nights and 7:15 PM – 11 PM on non-school nights. We may play all the songs on Friday and Saturday nights but this depends on how much viewer traffic we get.”
