HOUSTON (FOX 26) – Who will be declared the winner of the eleventh season of “American Idol?” Will it be 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez or Georgia pawn shop worker Phillip Phillips?
Sanchez and Phillips each performed a song chosen by “American Idol” producer Simon Fuller, a song of their choice that they have already sung during the season, and the song that would be his or her winner’s song.
The winner will be announced live during the Wednesday, May 23 two-hour episode of “American Idol.”
